Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab announces State Awards for Private Schools, Principals, teachers and students. Speaking on the occasion Moga district representatives Mr. Kulwant Singh Dani, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Mr. Davinderpal Singh Rimpy stated that registration for the awards has been started. On the occasion of launch ceremony of awards State President Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri shared that Federation along with the support and collaboration of other associations there are around 6500 private schools which not only offer basic and quality education but also is a hub providing job to lacs of youngsters. He also stated that the private schools play a major role in the contribution of quality education to the young generation yet the private organisations and its employees have never been appreciated and honoured by the Government in the form of awards to motivate them. The Federation of Private Schools and Associations have taken the initiative to honour the employees and the private schools nine different categories. In every district two best schools will be awarded for each category and similarly 2 Principals from each district of Punjab will be honoured the Highly Dynamic Principal Award (CBSE &PSEB). The online registration for nominations for the Best School Award and Principal Award is open from 25 April. The Award ceremony will be solemnised on 12th June at state level. 5 teachers from all 22 Districts each will be awarded Dhronacharya Award and similarly the meritorious students of Grade -10 and Grade 12th will be awarded on 3rd September with Proud of Punjab Award. Chandigarh University will take the lead as an assessment agency for various award selection criteria in collaboration with the members of renowned organisations having no personal connect for the fair and unbiased selection of the deserving schools/candidates. The private organisations are filled with enthusiasm and look forward to this prestigious ceremony ahead.
